The Idea

Giving shouldn't require wealth, paperwork, or planning — only a kitchen and a moment of intention.

A handful of grain — simple giving from the kitchen

Every household contributes any quantity of grains from their kitchen. That is all. And that is enough.

Orphaned children

Residential homes and shelters caring for children who depend on institutional support for daily nourishment.

Senior citizens

Homes caring for elders without family support — where a steady source of grain means a steady source of dignity.

Individuals requiring care

Institutions serving persons with special needs, chronic illness, or circumstances requiring ongoing food support.

How it works

From homes to those who need it most.

A short, well-supported drive inside your housing society — typically five to seven days from kickoff to delivery. We handle the heavy lifting.

1. The Pledge

Families set aside a handful (मुट्ठी) of grain from their kitchen before the meal is cooked — any quantity, any variety.

2. The Collection

A short 5 – 7 day drive inside the housing society. Volunteers coordinate; Rohan Federation provides boxes, material, and support.

3. The Delivery

Grains are packed and delivered to institutions vetted by Sevavardhini — caring for orphaned children, senior citizens, and individuals needing support.
